Explore Your Costs

The focus of my photography is to create images that illustrate your relationships with your loved ones. Since each wedding is different and unique, customizing a collection to suit your desires is possible and very much encouraged. Therefore it’s best if you can get in touch with me and let me know some of the specifics of yours (e.g. location(s), duration, # of guests, etc.) so that I can give you the most accurate information.

Generally speaking, each client receives:

  • extensive pre-wedding consulting
  • high resolution, edited digital files on USB
  • a print credit so that you can display beautiful photographic prints in your home

For wedding commissions that are shorter than 8 hours, I offer hourly pricing as well.

HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?

After we’ve discussed your wedding details (whether in person/email/phone) and have determined the right collection for you, I’m officially signed up as your photographer when we’ve completed a wedding photography agreement and you’ve sent me a 50% retainer. The remaining balance is due no later than your wedding date.

WHEN DO WE GET OUR PHOTOS?

I know that you’d love to get your photos right away (or your parents/in-laws are bugging you to see them) but it takes time to perfect each one. I usually will have a short preview on my blog and/or Facebook within 2 weeks and depending on the season, the entire set will be completed within 3 months though often sooner.

3 MONTHS! HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I GET?

On average, I usually deliver between 300-400 individually edited photos for an 8 hour wedding. If I work with a 2nd photographer, you most likely will get even more.

HOW MUCH IS IT TO HIRE A 2ND PHOTOGRAPHER?

I often will bring a non-shooting assistant to help me during your wedding at no extra cost. If you would like an experienced 2nd photographer for more coverage, they can be booked @ $95/hr.

DO YOU SHOOT VIDEO AS WELL?

My skills are in photography only; if you require videography services, I’d be happy to recommend some great talent to you.

WHAT ABOUT AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION?

Debby & James – Prince Edward County connection session.

I highly recommend we have a “connection session” (commonly called an e-session) for a variety of reasons. It allows you to get comfortable in front of my camera, gives us a chance to work together before your big day, and you get some amazing images to use in preparation for your wedding.

Some of my collections already include a connection session, otherwise it is charged at an hourly rate of $300/hr.

Premium Art Books

If your particular wedding collection does not already include a Premium Art Book, you may purchase one to go with your digital files and photographic prints. Starting at $1200 for a 12×12″ book, you have the choice of a genuine full grain leather or custom printed metallic cover. You can check them out in person during our first face-to-face meeting.
